“I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13
In August 2013, Rob Estes was diagnosed with an incurable form of brain cancer. After the removal of a 5 centimeter tumor in his right frontal lobe, he valiantly fought his Goliath for four years. Unfortunately, Rob lost his battle December 17, 2017. As a result of this experience, our family has realized the importance of faith, community, perseverance, and hope. We also realize the importance of helping others in their times of adversity. For this reason we have created Can’t Never Could.
The name Can’t Never Could comes from a saying that Rob often heard from his mother as he was growing up. Whenever Rob complained "I can’t do it!” his mother would quickly reply, “Can't Never Could!”. If you don't try, you'll never succeed. This phrase, along with Philippians 4:13, which he was taught on his high school football team, became Rob’s mantra and life verse.
